THE Met Office has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms in Basingstoke tomorrow which could cause some flooding and travel disruption.
The warning is in place from 9am until 7pm on August 2 and warns of heavy showers and thunderstorms which are expected to develop on Wednesday and may cause some damage to buildings and structures from lightning strikes.

The Met Office warns that driving conditions may be affected by spray, standing water and / or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
It also warns of possible delays to train services as well as short-term loss of power.
Heavy rain is forecast from 10am on August 2, followed by thunderstorms from 2pm.
