A HOSPICE in Basingstoke is all set to host its annual Moonlight Walk, and this year, it's going to be an even more enchanting affair with a new glitter and glow theme.
St Michael’s Hospice is inviting people to participate in the sponsored 10k night-time walk on Saturday, September 30, all in support of providing vital care to patients and families across North Hampshire.
The Glitter and Glow Moonlight Walk promises to add a touch of magic to Basingstoke this September.
Walkers are encouraged to put on their brightest and most glittery outfits, illuminating the night as they embark on the 10k route through the city.

The walk will start at 9pm from Festival Place, where participants will gather to enjoy music, face-painting, and a warm-up.
The Moonlight Walk has become a beloved tradition, and this year's glitter and glow theme is expected to elevate the experience to new heights.
The event not only promises an evening of fun but also holds immense significance for St Michael’s Hospice, an independent charity that relies on community support to provide its services.
Events manager Becky Legate said: "We only receive 16 per cent statutory funding to help run our services. Every walker signed up and person who sponsors will make a huge difference to our patients. We’re really excited to welcome everyone to our glitter and glow-themed event – it’s looking to be a great night."
Registration is now open, with entry fees at £20 for participants over 18, £12 for children aged 11 to 17, and free for anyone under 10.

The funds raised will go towards St Michael’s Hospice's mission of raising £14,000 each day to provide compassionate care for people in North Hampshire facing life-limiting illnesses, end-of-life situations, or bereavement.
As participants cross the finish line, they can look forward to refreshing treats and well-deserved medals.
