A PETERBOROUGH man has been hit with points on his licence for using his mobile phone behind the wheel.
Adrian Dworas was caught using the device between junctions 6 and 7 of the M3 near Basingstoke while driving an artic heavy tractor.
The 32-year-old originally pleaded not guilty but following a trial at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court, he was found guilty.
Dworas was given six penalty points on his licence and fined £229. He must also pay £620 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
