A READING man has been fined hundreds of pounds after he was caught speeding in Hook.
Daniel Lovelock was caught driving at 53mph while behind the wheel of a Renault Trafic on the B3349 in Hook. The offence took place on June 24, last year.
The speed limit on the road is 40mph.
Lovelock previously pleaded not guilty to the offence but was found guilty following a trial at Aldershot Magistrates’ Court.
The 40-year-old was given three penalty points on his licence and fined £230. He must also pay £250 court costs and a £92 victim surcharge.
