MAGISTRATES have fined a man who stole hundreds of pounds worth of items from a Basingstoke supermarket.
Stuart Toakley, of Appleton Drive, Basingstoke, stole £402 worth of products from Asda in Brighton Hill on June 6.
During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, Toakley pleaded guilty to the offence.
The 42-year-old was fined £120 and ordered to pay court costs of £40, along with a £48 victim surcharge.
