A BRAMLEY man has been fined hundreds of pounds after he failed to stop at a collision in Basingstoke.

Genus Oke, of Beckett Gardens, was the driver of a Toyota Auris when he was involved in a crash on April 24, last year, which caused injury to another person.

During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court, the court heard that Oke was driving without due care and attention.

The 63-year-old was hit with nine penalty points on his driving licence and fined £450.

He must complete 100 hours of unpaid work, along with paying £450 court costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
