A POPULAR Indian restaurant in Basingstoke is in the running for a national award.

Spicy Tadka in Festival Place has been shortlisted for the final of South East category of the English Curry Awards 2023.

The restaurant says it serves delicious and authentic Indian dishes prepared with exotic spices and aromatic herbs by a team of chefs with decades of talent and experience behind them.

Now in its 12th year, the English Curry Awards aim to celebrate the best in the curry industry.

Winners will be announced at a ceremony in Birmingham on Monday, August 14.
