MULTIPLE car meets have been reported across Basingstoke in one evening.
Basingstoke Cops took to Facebook to share the news on Tuesday, August 15.
They posted: "We are aware of reports relating to an ongoing car meet taking place in multiple areas across Basingstoke this evening.
"Officers are out and about monitoring the meets. Please be assured should any offences take place and/or are witnessed by officers then the offenders will be dealt with robustly."
On a Rooksdown community Facebook page residents reported seeing a high volume of police.

One posted: "Police car flashing lights just come down park Prewitt Road."
Another said: "Police cars sat on the entrance of Rooksdown and Winklebury.'
Another said a police helicopter was circling Roosksdown from 10.20pm to 11.05pm.
The Gazette does not know if the incidents are linked.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "We received reports of a potential unauthorised car meet taking place in the Armstrong Road and Hatch areas of Basingstoke last night."
