A CHARITY in Basingstoke is to host an annual quiz night where teams can test their music and general knowledge.
Hospital Radio Basingstoke is a registered charity completely run by volunteers in several different roles, including show presenters and ward visitors.
Hospital Radio Basingstoke broadcasts 24 hours a day to the patients and staff of Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital through the free radio service on the bedside Hospedia terminals and on DAB around Basingstoke and the surrounding towns.

The charity will be hosting its annual Quiz night on Saturday, September 16, at the Irish Centre, in Council Road, Basingstoke.
The event will raise essential funds for the running of the radio station, with the doors to the quiz opening at 7pm, before a 7.30pm start with a bar and raffle prizes to be won.

Tickets are £6 per person, with teams of up to six. To take part, email quiznight@hrbasingstoke.co.uk with your team name.
Fundraising officer April Haywood said: "We are looking forward to putting this event on again and raising essential funds for Hospital Radio Basingstoke and we are sure that it will be a fun and successful evening."
