A CHARITY volunteer has been commended for her lifetime of work in Tadley by bagging a Good Citizens Award.
Wendy Cottrell has volunteered for the Helping Hands Charity Shop in Tadley from the day the shop opened.
The shop which provides a place for the community and surrounding areas to get involved.
The shop receives preloved items and sells them to new loving homes. Money raised from selling stock is distributed to groups, clubs and charitable organisations via a grants committee.
Wend has remained a committed member of the team giving up her time twice a week for more than 18 years.
Wendy has also supported the shop by doing lots of outside events, including a Christmas tree lights event.
