MAGISTRATES have disqualified a Basingstoke drug driver from getting behind the wheel for more than two years.
Jamie Butterworth, of Gainsborough Road, on March 24 drove on the M3 in Winchester with 637ug/L of benzoylecgonine and 32ug/L of cocaine in his blood. The legal limit is 50ug/L and 10ug/L respectively.
During a hearing, which was held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court, the 32-year-old pleaded guilty to the offences.

Magistrates banned Butterworth from getting behind the wheel for 30 months and ordered a fine of £943 to be paid.
Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £377 must also be paid.
