OVERTON is gearing up for an exhilarating bank holiday weekend as CarFest makes a triumphant return, promising an unforgettable fusion of cars, music and family fun.
From Friday, August 25, to Sunday, August 27, the grounds of Laverstoke Park Farm, owned by F1 world champion Jody Scheckter, will come alive with an adrenaline-fueled adventure that's not to be missed.
Car enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike are invited to immerse themselves in the automotive spectacle, as more than 500 captivating cars take centre stage at CarFest, created by broadcaster Chris Evans.
This is the 12th edition of CarFest South.

From sleek electric vehicles to the roar of petrol engines, the Cinch paddock will showcase an extensive range of cars designed to meet every need, from everyday practicality to sophisticated elegance.
It will also be a weekend of non-stop fun for children as KidsFest and AdventureFest will be returning to CarFest.
KidsFest celebrates all the best bits of being a kid, with a stage set to feature some of the biggest names from CBBC and CBeebies, filled with music, dancing and games.
It will also host special appearances from Bedtime Stories, Basil Brush, Horrible Histories, Andy & The Odd Socks, and Yolanda’s Band Jam.
There will be visits from Hey Duggee, Bing and Flop, Bluey and Bingo, Octonauts, Postman Pat and Teletubbies throughout the weekend.
For older children, the festival has teamed up with Young Driver – a team of specially trained driving instructors - who will offer taster lessons for 10 to 17-year-olds throughout the weekend.

Various sports activities will be held over the weekend including football, rugby, athletics and cricket in the SportsZone, or for some quiet time, an art club will give youngsters the chance to get creative and make souvenirs and gifts to take home.
AdventureFest will see the return of outdoor fun including the chance to get up close and personal with a host of creepy-crawlies.
In addition, CarFest 2023 promises an even more enriching experience with FoodFest, RetroFest, StarFest, and SpaFest—guaranteeing an enchanting festival adventure that caters to the entire family.
