DRIVERS flocked to a Basingstoke supermarket car park to attend a car meet, which caused a disturbance to nearby residents.
Residents reported to the Gazette that they heard loud engines and backfiring coming from cars attending a car meet in Morrisons car park.
It was also reported that cars had been racing around the Basingstoke ring road.

The incident was reported to the police at around 11.30pm on Sunday, August 27, and officers attended the scene, with the group soon dispersing.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 11.30pm to a report of a car meet in Morrisons car park on Worting Road, Basingstoke.
"Officers attended the scene and the group dispersed."
