A 38-year-old man has been arrested for attempting to evade police after driving 'erratically'.
The incident happened around 10pm on Sunday, August 27, when police travelling northbound on the M3 witnessed a car driving erratically near Junction 7.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it proceeded to continue to drive, speeding along the A30 and into Linseed Way. The car lost control, with two people leaving the vehicle attempting to evade officers.

A 38-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable, failing to co-operate with a preliminary test and driving a motor vehicle dangerously.
A second vehicle later collided with a pole that had been damaged on the M3 as a result of the initial incident, with a man in his 50s taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "Police travelling on the M3 northbound on Sunday evening (August 27) witnessed a vehicle driving erratically at junction 7 shortly before 10pm.

"Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however, it continued to drive erratically and at speed along the A30 and into Linseed Way. The car then lost control and two people got out and attempted to evade officers.
"A 38-year-old man from Basingstoke was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by a constable, failing to co-operate with a preliminary test and driving a motor vehicle dangerously. He has been released from police custody on conditional bail pending further enquiries. His bail date is October 9.
"A second vehicle later collided with a pole that had been damaged on the M3 as a result of the incident. A man in his 50s was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
"The incident remains under investigation."
