CRIME reported in Basingstoke and Deane has increased, the latest police figures show.
In June 2023, the most recent month available, 1,165 crimes were reported across the borough, which is up from 1,149 crimes reported in the previous month of May, according to data.police.uk.
The most common category was violence and sexual offences, with 452 offences reported, which is down from 475 reports in May.
Anti-social behaviour incidents were the second-most common category, with 157 reports during the month, followed by 120 reports of public order offences.
