A four-year-old girl is in hospital after she was hit by a van on the A30 in Hook.
The pedestrian, identified as the four-year-old girl, suffered severe injuries and has been transported to the hospital.
Her family is aware and with her.
The incident happened near St John's church just before 11.45am on Sunday, September 3.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services attended, but has now fully reopened.
Officers investigating the circumstances of the crash are appealing to people to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage capturing the collision or the moments leading up to it.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number #0851 of today’s date.
