THE Basingstoke Buffalo will look to start their league campaign at home this Sunday, after last week’s game was cancelled, writes Graham Merry.
The Buffs had been due to face the Cardiff Fire, but the extreme hot weather made the ice unplayable.
This Sunday, September 17 (6.30pm) the Buffalo will hope for better luck when they face the Streatham Black Hawks.
They also had their opening league fixture cancelled last weekend.
Paul Petts one of the Buffalo player coaches said: “We were gutted not to play last week after a really good week of training.”
“We will now focus on this week’s game and know Streatham have some decent players. So it is not going to be easy.”
