RETIREES in Basingstoke made the most of the September sun as they held a garden party and invited the community.
Churchill Retirement Living's Austen Lodge, in London Road, held the party on Tuesday, September 5, and was an opportunity for residents to socialise and meet new apartment owners moving into the communal living space.
Singer Kevin Hill Junior performed a set of live swing music, while residents enjoyed ice cream and a jug of Pimm’s.
