Buses will not serve Basingstoke Railway Station for six hours today due to a road closure.
The road to the station is closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm today (September 17) for road markings, specifically adding red-coloured surfacing.
Bus company Stagecoach announced it is unable to serve the railway station during these times.
A post on X, formerly known as Twitter, said: "Due to a planned road closure at Basingstoke Railway Station today between 09:30 - 15:30 none of our services will be able to serve the railway station.
"We will be diverting via Alencon Link until the roadworks are complete and the road re-opens."
Buses will divert via Alencon Link to Basingstoke Bus Station until the roadworks are complete and the road reopens.
If services serve the station from Chapel Hil, instead of taking the first exit at the roundabout and heading eastbound along Alencon Link, buses will take the second exit and divert around Victory Roundabout to Churchill Way.
Services will then loop around Eastrop Roundabout to the bus station.
