A SEVEN-year-old pupil from an Overton school launched a developer's new show home at Sovereign Gate.
Cerys Luckhurst, a pupil from Overton CE Primary School, won an interior design competition organised by Bewley Homes earlier in the year, and her vibrant and imaginative vision has now been brought to life in one of the children's bedrooms of the new show home.
"I can't believe that my design is actually here in the show home. It's like a dream come true," Cerys said.
"I love colours and magic, and I wanted to create a design that feels like you're in a fairytale jungle. I hope all the children who visit this room feel as happy as I do."

Elaine Stratford, sales and marketing director at Bewley Homes, said: "Cerys's design not only captured the essence of childhood wonder but also resonated with the ethos of the Overton development – ‘a place where families can create lasting memories and build their dreams’.
“Her enthusiasm and boundless creativity are a testament to the magic that young minds can conjure. We're thrilled to have had her collaborate with us and share her imagination.”
The show home is now open for viewings, and Bewley is inviting prospective buyers to experience first-hand the exceptional quality and craftsmanship that the housebuilder is renowned for in the region.
