A NEW independent veterinary clinic has opened its doors in Basingstoke, offering a range of services, including overnight in-patient care onsite.
Situated at Woodland Court, Shortwood Copse Lane in Basingstoke, The Hampshire Vet new practice is set to provide top-notch care for the beloved pets of the community.
It is located close to the A30, The Hollyblue pub, and Beggarwood Park.
To celebrate the launch and introduce their services to pet owners, The Hampshire Vet hosted an open day on Saturday, September 23.

The event drew hundreds of attendees eager to get an up-close look at the clinic's facilities and to meet the dedicated professionals behind this promising venture.
The clinic is the brainchild of head veterinarians Emily Scott and Jamie Cole, both of whom have nurtured their passion for veterinary medicine since a young age.
Emily, who has been a resident of Basingstoke for nearly a decade, joined forces with Jamie, who returned to the area five years ago after growing up locally, to create a clinic that aspires to offer the highest standards of in-patient care.
Emily said: "At the moment, we have about 1,000 clients, but we have the capacity for 3,000-4,000 clients. We offer a wide range of surgeries, including specialist procedures for breeds like French bulldogs. Our expertise lies in laparoscopic surgeries and orthopaedic procedures.
"Most of our clients are from Basingstoke and nearby areas. We also have a lot of clients who moved from other veterinary clinics in the area when they became corporate."
Currently, the clinic boasts a dedicated team consisting of two experienced veterinarians, five full-time nurses, one animal care assistant, and three receptionists.

The clinic's facilities are designed with the comfort and well-being of pets in mind, featuring special waiting areas and consulting rooms for cats and dogs, a cozy kitchen, a calming prep room, dedicated spaces for dentistry procedures, and separate kennel areas.
One notable feature is the provision of onsite oxygen for pets, eliminating the need for cumbersome oxygen bottles.
The clinic is also equipped with an X-ray room, a dispensary area, and an in-house lab to ensure prompt results without the delays associated with outsourcing.
As part of their future plans, The Hampshire Vet intends to expand its services in the next two years, marking phase two of their development.
