AN AWARD-winning singer and songwriter Lauren Housley and The Northern Cowboys will be performing in Basingstoke.
Lauren recently debuted her new band with a standout performance at Kent's Black Deer Festival, where they shared their first single High Time.
A brilliantly composed slice of modern Northern Americana soul, High Time is all blazing trumpets, classic organs and soaring choruses as Housley makes a commanding opening statement certain to invite comparisons to her fellow Black Deer performers Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats or the acclaimed Durand Jones & The Indications.
To date, the regional stations Chelmsford Radio, Rewind Radio Cornwall, BBC Leeds, BBC Ulster, BBC Surrey and Sussex have immediately got behind High Time and had Lauren on air.

It was after sharing bills with artists such as Van Morrison, Jack Soveretti and First Aid Kit, Lauren decided to develop her own live show and to go all-in with her own band which in turn inspired songs and recordings with The Northern Cowboys Band.
The new single Something More has been released digitally, ahead of the release of their debut EP on Friday, September 29
After a short visit to Nashville to perform at the Americana Annual Thirty Tigers Sunday Gospel Brunch, Lauren together with The Northern Cowboys will then be taking the six-piece band on the road for The Social Club tour.
She will be at The Forge in Basingstoke on Thursday, October 5.
