MAGISTRATES have ordered drugs to be destroyed after a man was found to be in possession of them in Basingstoke.

Ibrahim Sumbunu, from London, on Thursday, August 11, last year, had in his possession a quantity of Class A drugs including crack cocaine and diamorphine in Basingstoke.

During a hearing which was held at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 19, the 21-year-old pleaded guilty to the drug offences.

Magistrates ordered the drugs to be destroyed and Sumbunu must pay a fine of £200.

Court costs of £85 and a surcharge fee of £80 must also be paid.
