Aliya’s mother, Faye Agwu, from Buckfast Close, in Popley, said the family is still waiting for a coroner’s report regarding the cause of death and whether an inquest will be held.
Hampshire Coroner’s Office said a decision to hold an inquest will not be made until a cause of death is provided by a pathologist, which can take up to 20 weeks.
Faye, a 36-year-old mother-of-three who works as a carer, described Aliya as “one of the funniest people I’ve ever met”. She added: “Her smile was just amazing. She had this ability to light up a room when she came into it.”
