Now, aged just 24, she has launched a bigger premises at the craft centre which will allow her to welcome more people into the studio and shop. The independent business specialises in creating beautifully British homeware and gifts, all designed on site by Laura and manufactured using independent British suppliers.

The shop’s home fragrance ranges are all made on site and customers can watch Laura in action when they visit.

Two years ago, Laura introduced experiences for customers to join in with the traditional craftmanship behind the products made at the shop. This includes candle and soap-making workshops which have become extremely popular.

The new studio will provide a much larger space to host these.

At the official launch, Laura welcomed customers who could browse the shop’s new festive collection while enjoying a glass of fizz.

She said: “The day was a real milestone moment for me and seeing all the support from customers was so encouraging.”

She added: “It was a real moment where I saw just how far we’ve come. From something that started as a hobby in the corner of my room just four years ago, it’s grown into a real dream. Behind the scenes, the journey is an absolute constant rollercoaster but I think yesterday was certainly one of the biggest highs.”
