SCORES of runners put their best foot forward to take part in this year's Basingstoke Half Marathon and 10k.
The event, organised by Destination Basingstoke, saw participants gather at the War Memorial Park on Sunday, October 1.
Runners representing various clubs and charities completed a picturesque route out to the south of the town through Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop in a challenging hilly course.
Long-time supporter Phillips Law was the headline sponsor again, joined by other sponsors Nomios UK & I, Lilly UK, TD Synnex and Lavazza.
After conquering the hilly route, runners from the 10k and half marathon races crossed the finish line back in the park.
Young runners aged five to 10 and 11-15 also had their own one-mile races to take part in at the race village, which was a delight for all to watch.
