TWO people have been arrested following reports of a violent incident in Odiham.
The incident, which occurred near the Chalky Lane junction off A287 Farnham Road, involved the alleged assault of one man with a crowbar and the sighting of another individual carrying a firearm.
Police were called at around 3.15pm on Sunday, October 8, to reports of a disturbance involving two groups of people.
A 40-year-old man from Odiham has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent, theft of motor vehicle, aggravated vehicle taking and affray.

A 25-year-old man from Odiham has been arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle, grievous bodily harm with intent and affray.
The victims of the incident included a man who sustained a head injury, believed to have been caused by a blow with a crowbar.
A man at the scene was also reportedly seen with a gun, police said.
Officers investigating the incident believe all the parties involved are known to each other.
Police remained at the scene on Monday, October 9 and are appealing for information and dashcam footage following the public order incident.
In particular, police want to hear from motorists who were driving on the A287 Farnham Road near Odiham at about this time.
