This is everything the police have said so far about an emergency incident that has closed a town centre road in Basingstoke.
Alencon Link, from Eastrop Roundabout to Basingstoke train station was closed on Friday, October 13, by police due to an emergency incident.
Buses, taxis and cars are unable to access the road, with a number of stagecoach services unable to serve bus stops on Alencon Link and at the train station.
UPDATES: Basingstoke town centre road closed due to police incident
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary has said: "We are currently dealing with an incident at Skyline Plaza in Basingstoke.
"Officers are on the scene after receiving reports that a man was throwing objects from a balcony.
"As a precaution, officers have closed part of Alencon Link, from Eastrop Roundabout to the train station.
"Please find an alternative route and thank you for your patience. We will update you when we are in a position to do so."
