A WOMAN who died on the train tracks near Fleet has been named.
An inquest has been opened after Wenjing Sun, of Old Diary Close, Fleet, died on Friday, September 29.
The incident caused disruptions for rail services throughout Hampshire.
Ms Sun, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The causes of death were given as electrocution and multiple injuries.
The inquest was opened at Winchester Coroners' Court on Monday, October 16.
At the time of the incident, a British Transport Police spokesman said: "Officers were called to the line in Fleet at 9.11am following reports of a casualty on the tracks. Paramedics also attended; however, sadly, a person was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The full inquest will be held on September 24 next year.
