WHITCHURCH Children's Festival has earned a coveted spot on the shortlist for the prestigious UK Festival Awards 2023.
The festival, known for its family-friendly atmosphere and commitment to nurturing young artistic talents, has been recognised in two categories - Best Micro Festival and Best Family Festival.
Voting for the awards is currently underway and will conclude on Monday, October 23, 2023.
The Whitchurch Children's Festival, funded by the Arts Council England, is a family arts extravaganza catering to children of pre-school and primary school age.

The event offers an array of hands-on arts and crafts workshops, captivating dance and music performances, and live theatre shows.
Since its inception in the summer of 2021, right after the initial Covid-19 lockdown, the Whitchurch Children's Festival has consistently expanded in both scale and popularity.
The festival takes place every two years and brings together a diverse group of artists and creatives from the borough and wider Hampshire region to create a memorable experience for attendees.
The festival is organised by the Whitchurch Conservation Group which operates on a voluntary basis.
