A POPULAR circus, providing a brilliant array of family entertainment is visiting Basingstoke for the next week.

Jay Miller's Circus has set up in its usual location on Churchill Way West, close to Milestones Museum, and will stay throughout the half-term week until Sunday, October 29.

The circus is proud to bring to residents another first-class circus production, providing a traditional, yet modern show. Following reviews of 'mind-blowing', 'fantastic value for money', 'amazing' and 'great fun for all the family', the group is continuing its policy to promote the art of live entertainment in towns and villages throughout the UK.

The ever-cheeky and happy-go-lucky clown, Peppi, will headline the comedy zone bringing his array of chaos and mayhem.

The circus will also present an all-new show and ringmistress Miss Lea will present Sebastian from Finland on the Wheel of Death, and Duo Reyes from Cuba showcasing strength and balance entwined, and Budapest beauty Miss Zsofia who will fly high above the circus ring upon the Cloudswing, to name just a few.

Hailing from Ukraine the Jan Extreme Trio will bring their street style of BMX to the Big Top. The grace and elegance of Miss Paige will be on display, performing within the aerial chandelier in the heights of the Big Top, and every child's favourites Yogi and Bubu return.

Audiences also have the chance to be amazed by masters of illusion Novosselov and in awe of the laser light show by Yevgeniy.

A circus spokesperson added: "So join us as we bring you, possibly, the best show to date. Enjoy the smell of the candy floss, the fresh popcorn, and all that creates a family fun experience where the atmosphere is pure circus."
