A BASINGSTOKE man has been jailed for four months after admitting multiple shoplifting offences in town.
Adrian Paul O’Leary, 44, of no fixed abode, was charged with 26 counts of theft from a shop.
All offences took place at the One Stop on Shakespeare Road between September 18 and October 11.
In total, more than £3,000 worth of items were reported to have been stolen.
O’Leary pleaded guilty to the offences at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on October 19 and was sentenced to four months in prison.
