MAGISTRATES have fined a man who damaged a Bible and stole cigarettes, a vape and a lighter in Basingstoke
Joshua Brunt, of Romsey Road in Winchester, on Thursday, June 8, in Basingstoke stole cigarettes, a vape and a lighter worth £18 belonging to the Co-op.
The following day on Friday, June 9, Brunt damaged a police codes of practice document and a Bible worth £8.62 belonging to Hampshire Constabulary.

During a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 17, the 22-year-old pleaded to the offences.
Magistrates ordered Brunt to pay £120 in fines and compensation costs of £8.62.
Court costs of £40 must be paid.
