AN ODIHAM pub has been named among the best for roast dinners in the country.
Popular travel blog, Muddy Stilettos, ranked the best pub roasts in the UK, with one pub in Odiham making the list.
The Red Lion was named as one of the best pubs in the country to have a roast dinner.
Described as "consistently good (and well-priced too)", the popular pub's "rooms and characterful olde-worlde interiors" on Odiham High Street "serves up tasty Sunday roasts that are well worth travelling for – as well as a plentiful à la carte menu and very decent wine list."
The blog encourages readers to "head here after an autumnal walk along the nearby Basingstoke Canal."
Two other Hampshire-based pubs also made it on the list.
The Thomas Lord in West Meon and The Old Mill in Hordle were both named on the Muddy Stilettos list.
