A PERSON has been attacked by a dog in the South Ham area of Basingstoke.
The incident happened on Monday, October 23 when a large crossbreed dog attacked an adult who sustained bite wounds and bruising on Ballard Close.
Hampshire Constabulary has described the dog as possibly a Staffordshire bull terrier and an XL Bully.
It had a black Julius K9 harness on.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Officers need to speak to the man who was in control of the dog at the time. He is described as a white male about 5ft 5in in height.

"He has a slim build and black hair including a black curly beard. He was wearing a black and white full tracksuit and had a green backpack at the time.
"We have conducted a number of enquiries and are now asking the public for any information that may assist our investigation.
"Were you in the area at the time? Do you have any information that may assist our investigation?”
The incident happened between 8am and 9am.
The adult is expected to make a full recovery.
