Parents were left dismayed after a childrens play park was found with rubbish, including broken glass scattered across it.
On Sunday, October 22, Chris Dale visited Russell Howard Park, off Western Way, with his child.
However, they were unable to use large areas of the park because of broken glass and rubbish which had been left and littered around the park.
Chris took photos of the mess covering the playpark.
He said: "I was a kid and teen once, but never ever in a million years would we have left somewhere like this, let alone a kids park! Apart from CCTV, I'm not sure what the council can actually do."

Cabinet Member for residents’ services and housing Councillor Laura James said: "It is really disappointing to see our play parks used in this way and left in such a mess.
"I'd like to thank those members of the public who reported this to us so our teams were able to clear the litter and broken glass and make the area safe for families to use again.
"Our Community Safety Patrol Officers regularly patrol the area around Russell Howard Park to help stamp out antisocial behaviour in the area and they will continue this work."
