Basingstoke and Deane's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M3, from 9pm December 9 2020 to 6am November 9 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 both directions, junction 10, slip road closures for M3 Concrete barrier Scheme.
And a further four closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A34, from 8pm October 30 to 6am November 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 both directions Litchfield, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• M3, from 8pm November 4 to 6am November 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M3 southbound, junction 8 to junction 7, Lane closure for inspection works.
• A34, from 8pm November 6 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound, Whitchurch, slip road and lane closures for drainage work, diversion via National Highways network.
• A34, from 8pm November 6 to 6am November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Tothill to Beacon Hill, Lane closure for carriageway reconstruction works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
