Hartley Wintney returned to winning ways with a comfortable win over 10-man Sutton Common Rovers, writes David Graham.
Having lost two consecutive home fixtures the inconsistent Row recorded their fourth away win on in succession.
Hartley held an edge and went ahead on 19 minutes. Wylie set up Mason Obeng who saw his shot from 20 yards take a deflection and find the corner of the net despite a great effort from Dillon to save (0-1).
Sutton Common Rovers pulled level on 25 minutes. A long free kick from the right was headed back across goal and after a couple of unsuccessful efforts to clear Aaron Jenkins shot home at the back post (1-1).
On 36 minutes the game was to have a decisive turn. Bogdanovicius made good progress down the right and set up Morgan who saw his fierce goal bound shot stopped by the arm of Rovers Ben Holden. This earned the Rovers player a straight red card and he left the field of play. Taylor Morgan took the resultant spot kick and scored (1-2).
On 59 minutes Hartley increased their lead. A ball was played up to Taylor Morgan who chested and turned his marker defender before shooting across Dillon into the net (1-3).
Seven minutes later Wylie and Morgan combined well and set up Neves who saw his shot bring out a good save from Dillon. On 69 minutes Smith got free down the middle but Dillon came out and saved well.
Hartley sealed the points with a good goal on 84 minutes. Morgan, Wylie and Neves combined well to set up George Wallace and the young full back shot home from 20 yards (1-4).
With the 10 men of Rovers tiring, a number of presentable chances arrived for Hartley.
However only one further goal was recorded deep into added time. George Winser went on a long run with the ball from his own half, played a pass exchange with Wylie before scoring with a shot from 20 yards (1-5).
