A COMMUNITY association will be holding a fashion show this November.
The Basingstoke Community Wardrobe (BCW), which is a project set up by Viables Community Association, will be holding a fashion show at The Roger Morris Community Centre, in Eastrop Way, on Saturday, November 11.
Viables Community Association runs both Viables Community Centre, and The Roger Morris Community Centre at Eastrop, where the Community Wardrobe is based.

The fashion show will display a catalogue of items from the wardrobe, including both casual and formal wear. The event will run between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, and is free to attend. All clothing seen during the show is available to buy on the night.
An event organiser said: "It would be great to see lots of people turning out to enjoy and support the event, and maybe have a browse through the wardrobe itself."
The Basingstoke Community Wardrobe (BCW) has been set up to provide a facility for all to swap or donate clothing, to ensure it is both affordable for families and individuals, and to ensure it is reused, avoiding landfill as much as possible. The BCW’s mission is to raise community spirit by sharing, reusing, and keeping clothing affordable for all.

The wardrobe has been growing from strength to strength and continues to offer clothes to anyone who is in need, or to those who simply fancy a change of wardrobe without the waste.
It is open weekdays between 10am and 12pm, with monthly pre-owned sales where people can come and browse all that the wardrobe has to offer. All items in the wardrobe have been donated – some are in used good condition, and others are brand new items.
Organisers of the event and owners of the Community Wardrobe said: "Please help us make a difference to those in the community by supporting the wardrobe. Alone we can do our little bit; together we can do so much."
Tickets to the event are available at trybooking.com/uk/events.
The Community Wardrobe is also looking for volunteers, which can be enquired about by contacting office@viables.org.uk.
