It's a time every parent, grandparent and carer feels proud - a child's first days at school are precious to many.
And this year Reception classes across Basingstoke have been captured in brilliant pictures in the Gazette's popular First Class feature.
The feature will showcase around 60 classes from more than 30 schools.
All of the pictures will be printed in a special First Class supplement in the Gazette this week.
You can pick up First Class in your normal copy of the Gazette on Thursday, November 8.
