The Poundland branch in Chineham Shopping Centre will close at the end of this year, according to staff at the branch.
The shop sells a range of budget goods, including food, drink, stationery, home decorations and seasonal items.
Staff at the shop were told this week that the branch would close on December 31.

An employee at the shop, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she is worried, with staff being given no information about whether they will be transferred to another branch, or lose their jobs.
A spokesman for Poundland said: "I’m afraid we’ve been unable to renew the lease for our store in Chineham, so it will close in the new year.
"However I’m pleased to say all colleagues will be able to relocate to nearby stores.
"It’s always disappointing to have to leave a store, but we look forward to continuing to welcome customers to our Festival Place store in Basingstoke."
The news of the closure comes after the recent announcement that the M&S Café next door to Poundland will close on November 26.
