TEAMWORK definitely makes the dream work – just ask the winners of the Destination Basingstoke Phillips Law Half Marathon prizes.
Representatives from Basingstoke and Mid Hants Athletic Club, whose teams won the fastest male and female running club team prizes, TD Synnex, which won the fastest corporate team award, and The Vyne School, who took the fastest other general team accolade, were presented with their trophies at the offices of event headline sponsor Phillips Law.
Nearly 900 people crossed the finish line on Sunday, October 1. Various prizes were handed out on the day, with the final prizegiving taking place at Phillips Law, in Basingstoke, on Monday, October 30.

Jack Gardener, senior partner at Phillips Law, said: “Congratulations to all of the team winners. It has been great to celebrate the achievements of these teams and the other winners at this year’s half marathon, 10k and children’s races.
“The Destination Basingstoke Phillips Law Half Marathon and 10k are great team-building events which improve and enhance the health and well-being of those taking part. Phillips Law is proud to be the headline sponsor, and we are looking forward to seeing familiar and new teams getting involved in the 2024 event.”
Organisers Destination Basingstoke are giving entrants a chance to get a cash-saving head start for the 2024 races.
Twenty per cent discount offers on entry fees are running until December 31, 2023 – available at bit.ly/45xAczV – and it is hoped that many of next year’s entrants will snap these up and start the training run-in to the 2024 event on Sunday, October 6.
