A Christmas carol service will be held at a crematorium in Basingstoke as a way to mark the time of year and remember loved ones.
The service, at Basingstoke Crematorium in Stockbridge Road, will take place on Thursday, December 7 at 7pm.
All are welcome to attend this free event for traditional carols accompanied by the lighting of candles and placing a star on the tree in memory of loved ones.
Carols will include Hark the Herald Angels Sing, O Come All Ye Faithful, and Silent Night.
Crematorium manager, Jackie Bridges said: “Christmas is not only a time of reflection but also one of celebration and goodwill and it is with this in mind that we would like to welcome everyone to our Christmas Carol Service.
"We are very much looking forward to welcoming everybody to come together. "
Chapel attendant Keith Reynolds said: “This has become a regular event in our calendar and always a pleasure to attend, I am delighted to welcome people to come together as we approach the festive period.”
During the evening, there will be an opportunity to donate to charity Sebastian’s Action Trust, which supports families of seriously ill children.
