A BASINGSTOKE man who travelled on a train without a valid ticket has been told to pay more than £400.
Jay Hare, of Eastrop Way, entered a train without a ticket at Hilsea on January 17.
During a hearing at East Hampshire Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, October 31, the offence was proved by a single justice procedure.
The 24-year-old was fined £220 and told to pay court costs of £160, along with an £88 victim surcharge and £18 compensation.
