RESIDENTS are invited to get into the Christmas spirit by coming along to watch a festive story at Basingstoke's theatre.
Rod Campbell’s festive story Dear Santa, will be The Haymarket from Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 10.
From the author of the popular children’s book Dear Zoo, Dear Santa is the perfect Christmas treat for those under seven, and tells the story of Santa’s determination to deliver the most fantastic Christmas present to Sarah. But things don’t go well, and he doesn't get it right straight away. With the help of his cheeky Elf, he finally settles on something ‘perfect', just in time for Christmas Eve.

Packed with Christmas songs and lots of audience participation, Dear Santa is the perfect introduction to theatre for those aged two to seven and is likely to be one Christmas treat children and adults alike will never forget.
There is also the chance to meet Santa after the show and every child will receive an extra special gift.
Tickets are priced at £19.
There is a relaxed performance on Friday, December 8 at 1.30pm.
