A TEAM of volunteers joined a gold-winning community group in Whitchurch to take part in a project to transform tired and unloved flower beds in and around the Bell Street car park in town.
Whitchurch in Bloom group got a helping hand from volunteers of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners for the project.

The volunteers dug over several flower beds, cleared weeds and planted bulbs in preparation for spring.
It is another positive step forward for the team led by Whitchurch residents Caroline Wells and Kathy Hardy who were very recently awarded Gold in the nationwide RHS In Bloom 2023 competition.
Caroline said: “We are extremely grateful for the support of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners: all the volunteers worked really hard despite the freezing weather. They have helped us prepare for next year.”
