A BASINGSTOKE vet practice will be holding a festive open day this Christmas.
With plenty of activities for children and pet owners alike, the open day at Linnaeus-owned The Barn Animal Hospital will take place on Saturday, December 16 between 12pm and 4pm, with highlights including tours of the newly-renovated practice and a children’s Christmas craft station.
Visitors can also learn about how to safeguard their pets during the festive period, plus a Q&A session with The Barn Animal Hospital’s veterinary team.

Practice tours will allow visitors to explore the upgraded reception area and consultation rooms, while those feeling peckish or thirsty can indulge in festive treats including mince pies, prosecco and mulled wine.
There’s also a raffle to support Helping Dogs and Cats UK, while festive pet portraits will help capture the holiday spirit.

New clinical director Fiona Walker, said: “Our festive open day has plenty to keep everyone entertained at this magical time of year.
“Children can get creative with a Christmas craft station, while adults can engage with our veterinary team and learn more about how their beloved pets are cared for.”
