A DRIVER has been taken to hospital following a crash involving four cars on the M3 near Basingstoke.
Police were called on Wednesday, December 6 to a report of a crash on the M3 northbound at 7.45am.
The crash happened between junctions 6 and 5 and initially resulted in the closure of the two outside lanes.
The vehicles involved were a Hyundai i30, Mazda 6, Seat Ibiza and Vauxhall Mokka.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "The driver of the Hyundai suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
"At 8.25am, all three lanes were closed while the vehicles were removed from the carriageway.
"The motorway fully reopened again at 8.35am and the vehicles were fully recovered by 9.35am."
