HOT-SHOT Hallam Wilson scored seven times, Xander Robinson bagged a hat-trick and Morgan Parsons had a shut-out, as the Basingstoke Buffalo crushed the Solent Devils 15-0 last Sunday.
The home side certainly avenged their loss earlier in the season in Gosport and took the lead after just 39 seconds.
Alex Sampford and Paul Petts combined and man of the match Wilson applied the finish.
Petts then provided the helpers on the next two goals on his way to seven assists on the night, as Wilson completed a first period hat-trick.
At the other end of the rink Solent man of the match Riley Panter tested Parsons in the home goal, but it remained 3-0 at the first break.
After the interval, the Buffalo extended their lead further as Scott Anda found Cam Buckle to score.
The Herd then really found their goal scoring touch with four goals in as many minutes.
Wilson netted the first from Petts and then turned provider for Buckle.
Buckle and Tom Banner then combined for Harry Harcup to score on his debut, having signed from the Bees in midweek.
The quick scoring spree was completed by Robinson, after he was released by Harry Tempest.
At this point Solent swapped their netminders and had a couple of chances, but Parsons was equal to them as the Buffs took an 8-0 lead to the locker room at the end of the second period.
A Devils penalty in the first minute of the final period, saw the home side score on the powerplay from Wilson.
They then added a shorthanded marker from Harcup as he converted a Buckle pass.
At 45:50, Wilson completed his double hat-trick and then Robinson tipped home an Ollie Reeves’ blue line blast.
Wilson took his tally to a magnificent seven with 10 minutes left and within a minute Robinson netted his hat-trick strike, assisted by Janne Virtenen and McKenzie Parsons, which was his first point of the season.
The scoring was wrapped up by Scott Anda, as he fired home after being found with a pass from behind the net by Josh Richards.
It was just left for Parsons to complete the first Buffalo shut-out of the season, as they won 15-0 their biggest win of the season so far and their sixth straight victory.
Next up for the Buffalo is a home game this Sunday against table toppers Haringey Huskies.
