DESCRIBED as ‘the UK’s first immersive escape room event’, Wine Escape is bringing its live entertainment show to Basingstoke next year.
The company hosts its unique event at venues across the country and will be at Audleys Wood Hotel, in Alton Road, on February 2.
The event invites ticket-holders to step back into the roaring 1920s to enjoy the glamour and extravagance of Hawker Wine Estate.

Described as an ‘immersive dining experiencing, combining the thrill of a night at the theatre with escape room style games’, attendees are invited to join an exclusive party hosted by the very wealthy owners, the fictional characters the Von James family.
But the celebrations turn sour when a storm of vengeance, lies and deceit ruins the evening. Guests must stick together and hold their nerve to beat the clock and escape Hawker alive.

The event, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm, costs £79.99 for an individual, with group discounts available, and includes a two-course meal, live show and entertainment in an immersive and interactive experience.
Despite the name of the event, it does not actually include wine in the ticket price, but a bar will be open throughout the event to buy drinks.
